Our team is young and dynamic, combining skills and personalities from a variety of professional fields to offer a stimulating and exciting learning experience.
To support the staff, our Scientific Committee, composed of experts from different disciplines, actively participates in the events, seminars and conferences organized by the association, contributing their knowledge and enriching Global Action’s learning offer.

Pierfrancesco Torrisi
Founder
About Pierfrancesco
A lawyer since 2007, specialising in international adoption, insurance and civil law; an expert in Model United Nations since 2003.
Today he is working on two important adoption cases in Congo and Kyrgyzstan, the latter being at the centre of Italy’s biggest case on international adoptions. Pierfrancesco does not fail to devote his time to initiatives involving young people and international training activities; for Global Action he has made the headquarters of his prestigious law firm available, opening its doors to those who wish to dedicate their time to training tomorrow’s leaders through innovative and free programmes.

About Carlotta
Carlotta graduated cum laude in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics from Luiss Guido Carli, and is currently enrolled in a Double Diploma in International Relations, with a specialisation in Mediterranean Governance, at Luiss Guido Carli and the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she is currently attending her second year. During the final year of her Bachelor’s degree, she spent a semester at the Universidad de San Andrés, in Buenos Aires.
She speaks fluent English, Spanish and French, and has a basic knowledge of Arabic and German.

About Valeria
Valeria Peddis, 26, has a degree in International Security. She currently works in an international consultancy firm and is passionate about international relations, climate change and security challenges. She has been working with Global Action for three years because she believes in the power of education as a powerful tool to inspire future generations.

Alessia Dominici

About Alessia
Alessia currently holds the position of Project Manager for the Diplomacy Education project at Global Action Italy, after having held previous positions as Social Media Manager and Team Coordinator within the same organisation. She holds a degree in Languages for Translation and Interpreting from UNINT, where she studied French, English, Chinese and Italian Sign Language (LIS). Her passion for international relations and languages led her to write her thesis on ‘Multilingual Diplomacy: The Role of the Chinese Language in the United Nations.’”
She is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Management of International Relations at UNINT.

Sofia Gioiosa

About Sofia
Sofia graduated with honours in Languages for Interpreting and Translation at the University of Rome (UNINT) and is currently enrolled in the Master’s degree course in Interpreting and Translation at the same university. During my studies, she spent a semester at the Universitat de València in Spain. She collaborated with Global Action, initially as Tutor and Bureau Intern and currently as Team Coordinator. She speaks Spanish, English and French.

Raoul Alberto Elia is a 22-year-old student from Rome, interested in the complexities of political, economic and international relations. Currently in his first year of a master’s degree in cooperation at Romatre University, he has several future goals. Although it may sound cliché, he aspires to contribute to changing the world for the better in the future.

Marta Badoni
Global Action Insight Manager
About Marta
Marta is a Master’s student in International Studies at Roma Tre University, with a strong interest in foreign policy and diplomacy, in particular in Italian-French relations. After graduating in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, she did an internship at the French Institute of Italy in Rome, where she participated in cultural mediation projects, supporting events and collaborating with the Embassy Press Service.
As part of her master’s degree, she had the opportunity to do an internship at the Consulate General of Italy in Lyon, where she was in charge of administrative and logistical activities, providing direct assistance to the Consul and support to Italian citizens in consular matters, including the management of the clean-up for the European elections.
She speaks fluent English and French and has an intermediate to basic level of German.

Eleonora Bertolini

About Eleonora
Eleonora is a third year Global Governance student (Tor Vergata) specialising in the Political Science, Law and History curriculum.
She currently holds the position of Social Media Manager for Global Governance’s social profiles. In the course of her studies, she acquired certified knowledge from Leiden University and UNSSC on topics such as International Humanitarian Law and Human Security Approach.
Passionate about the Middle East and the workings of the European Union, the subject of her thesis, she has been a member of MSOI Rome since 2023 and participated in the first edition of the event organised by the European Youth Forum in Brussels ‘LevelUp’.
She has a C1 in English and would like to learn French as a third language.

Maddalena Patrizi

About Maddalena
Maddalena is a final year student of Political Science, with extensive experience in Global Action, where she has held roles of increasing responsibility, from Tutor to Team Coordinator, up to Project Manager and currently Councillor. She is actively involved in politics, serving as a municipal councillor in a small municipality in Lazio, with delegations in tourism, culture, twinning and relations with European institutions.
She has a C1 level of English and a basic knowledge of Arabic.

Federica is 22 years old and has just graduated in Language and Cultural-Linguistic Mediation, during which time she completed an Erasmus programme in London.
During her first and current year, she held the position of Social Media Manager.

About Elisa
Elisa is a student currently enrolled in the Master’s degree course in Economics and Management of International Relations at UNINT University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa from Ca’ Foscari University. In 2018, she lived a year in Shanghai (China), where she studied Chinese language at Fudan University. She is fluent in English and Chinese, has an intermediate level of Spanish and a basic level of Japanese.
She also has a deep interest in human rights issues.

About Sofia
Sofia is 22 years old and has just graduated in Politics: Philosophy and Economics at Luiss Guido Carli, during which time she completed an Erasmus programme in the Netherlands.
During her first year she served as Bureau Team Member. The second as Team Coordinator and finally as Contact Person / Project Manager of ASEAN – Italy Youth Conference.
Has mastered the English language and basic French skills.

Zeljko Krivokapic

About Zeljko
Zeljko holds a master’s degree in interpreting and translation from the University of International Studies in Rome – UNINT. Previously, he obtained a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, French and Chinese in particular, from the University of Florence.
Despite his young age, his strong passion for international relations, diplomacy and foreign languages led him to leave his home country of Montenegro and move to Italy. He currently works as a trainee interpreter at the Ministry of the Interior.
He worked at Global Action as a Bureau Team Member and Project Manager for the Diplomacy Education project.Â
In addition to Montenegrin and Italian, he has an advanced level of English and French and an intermediate level of Chinese.

About Chiara
Chiara graduated in International Cooperation for Development and completed an interdisciplinary advanced training course on Sustainability and International Trade, both at the Sapienza University of Rome.
She has experience in Diplomatic Protocol, International Communication and External Relations.
She is in charge of coordinating the Social Media Institutional Communication section for Global Action.
She has a strong passion for languages and the international world, speaks Italian, English, German, French and is learning Arabic.
