Bureau Program

Global Action sostiene la partecipazione degli studenti universitari provenienti dagli atenei partner (Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”, LUISS Guido Carli, UNINT – Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma, Istituto di Alti Studi SSML Carlo Bo) in tutte le fasi di Diplomacy Education.

Gli studenti universitari selezionati:

  • saranno tutor degli studenti delle scuole superiori e comunicheranno con loro quando ce ne sarà bisogno;
  • saranno ricercatori nella fase di preparazione delle cosiddette background guides (le guide sulla commissione a cui ciascuno sarà assegnato e che serviranno da base agli studenti delle scuole superiori per lo studio delle tematiche su cui si lavorerà nelle fasi finali);
  • presenteranno il lavoro della propria background guide in un workshop con i giovani studenti che faranno da delegati in ciascuna commissione simulata;
  • saranno Bureau Members sia nella simulazione delle consultazioni GRULAC (Step 5.1) sia nella fase di simulazione conclusiva di GAMUN – Global Action Model United Nations (step 5.2).

Abbiamo già selezionato e coperto quasi tutte le posizioni che stavamo cercando. Di seguito i nomi degli studenti universitari selezionati e le relative commissioni di GAMUN a cui lavoreranno, dalla stesura delle guide alla gestione del dibattito.
Carlo Alberto Frassinetto e-mail
Carlo Alberto is a 20 year-old student at LUISS University in Rome. He attends the first year of the Bachelor degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). He is an athlete of the university’s volleyball team and a member of ASP (Political Science Association). His dream is to become a diplomat one day, but he would also like to work an international organization. He is interested in global security and in the initiation and facilitation of strategic agreements among states. He speaks Italian, English, and a little French.

Giovanni is a 19 year-old student at LUISS University in Rome. He attends the first year of Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE). He is particularly interested in the United Nations and has participated to various MUN conferences over the past five years. He would like, one day, to become a diplomat or work in politics. Above all, he is interested in global economics and international security. He speaks, Italian, English, Spanish, German and a little French.

Francesca is a 20 year-old student at LUISS University in Rome. She attends a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. She is really fascinated by foreign cultures and languages. She speaks English, Spanish, French and a she is learning German. Her biggest dream is to work in the Geopolitical field, possibly through International Organizations.

Costanza is a 19-years- old student, currently studying PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at LUISS University in Rome. She started developing a big interest in International Organizations during her last years of high school. She spent one year abroad as an exchange student in Oregon, USA. She speaks Italian, English, and just started learning French. She’s long been involved in different activities inside and outside the University (volunteering, art workshops, debates, and student associations). She would like to set up a career that could effectively combine two of her major interests, international politics and the environment. She speaks Italian and English.

Annalisa is a 19-year-old student at LUISS University in Rome. She is at her first year of the bachelor degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE), a member of ASP (Political Science Association) at her university and also a member of the staff of LUISS Radio. She spent the fourth year of high school in the city of Rauma, Finland. She speaks Italian, English, French and also some Finnish! She would like work in the future for an international organization and is an advocate of human rights. She is also interested in food issues and international cooperation.

Gianandrea is an 18-year-old student at LUISS University in Rome, currently attending the first year of PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics). During his life, he lived in several countries and so he developed a big interest in International Affairs and Organizations; his dream is to work in the field of diplomacy, in order to represent his country abroad. He has long been involved in numerous activities, such as volunteering, debates and students’ associations. He is bilingual in Italian and French, he speaks English and he studies Spanish.

Edoardo is a 20 year-old student at LUISS University in Rome. He is taking his Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). He is an active member of ASP (Political Science Association) at his university. His dream is to work for UNESCO one day but he would also like to start a diplomatic career. He speaks Italian, English, and French.

Giulia is a 24-year-old recently graduated student of Master’s Degree in International Economics – International Relations at the University of Rome UNINT where she was part of a team developing the UNINTalks project, whose objective is to promote the match of students with the practical reality of International Organizations. She has also a Bachelor’s degree in International Cooperation and Development from Sapienza University of Rome. She would like to work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the future and she is interested in international cooperation. She speaks Italian, English, and a little French and Spanish.

Valeria Awad is a 19 years-old-student currently in her first year of Linguistic and Cultural Mediation studies at Roma Tre University in Rome. In particular she studies English and Arabic. Her dream is to work for an international organization, especially for UN Women, as she strongly support gender equality and hopes to be an active part of the meaningful fight for equality around the world. She speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and a little Polish.

Alessandro is a 20 year-old student at Luiss University in Rome, but he is from northern Italy. He is attending the first year of Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and he is also a journalist for the university’s newspaper LED. During his free time he plays basketball and he loves to travel around the world. He would like to work as a diplomat for Italy, but his dream is to become one day a professional of the UN, especially in the humanitarian field or at the UNSC. He speaks Italian and English, but he is also studying French.

Erica is a 19 year-old-student at Luiss University in Rome. She is attending the first year of Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She works with associations such as Retake Roma and Animal Liberaction, to promote issues concerning the environment. She is also passionate about fashion and she works as a model for an agency in Rome. She has lived in Siria, Sénégal, Italy and in the United States. Because of the traveling she has always attended the French international School System. She fluently speaks English, French, Italian and a little German. Her dream is to become an environmental activist, to raise awareness of the global issue and how to change, individually and politically,  in order to face it.

Elisa is a 20 year-old student at LUISS university in Rome. She is enrolled in the second year of BA in Political Science. She is a member of the Political Science Association (ASP) and is interested in International Affairs. She periodically attends Language Cafè talks about global issues at her university and is taking part in several projects. She would love a career in the international organizations, in particular as a campaigner for human rights. She speaks English and a little bit of French.

Carlotta is a 20 years-old student attending the second year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. She spent a semester of the fourth year of high school in Hamilton, Canada, where she was hosted by a Jamaican family. She speaks Italian (mother tongue), English, Spanish, French, German and currently she is studying Arabic. Her dream is to work for one of the agencies of the UN or, in general, for IOs in the field of development and human rights. She is also interested in global cooperation for peace.
